A beautifully decorated cake can add delight to any special occasion. It’s a personal touch that will be appreciated by everyone present.   In this course you will learn the basic cake decorating skills just in time for the holidays.  For those who have taken the beginner course previously, advanced techniques will be offered.  Tips and recipes for baking and icing cakes will be presented.  Basic fundamentals such as borders, star tipping, writing, drop flowers, and roses will be taught.  Directions for decorating simple cakes, character cakes, and basket weaving will also be covered.  Basic supplies will be furnished at the first session.  Come and have fun!  Registrations must be in by Monday, September 27, 2010 to give the instructor time to purchase supplies.
